Reading is more important than writing.

About This Quote

It’s easy to see why this quote is so popular. Reading is an important skill, and it takes time to acquire it. But it’s not easy, either. As is the case with any art form, becoming a good writer requires years of practice.

But reading is even more complex. It can be hard to make sense of all the words on the page. It’s not uncommon for people to write things that don’t make sense or are contradictory.

The more you read, the greater your ability to understand what you read will become.
